IMG_0693Yesterday I promised you some Chicken Garam Masala and here it is!

The accompanying photos show the stages of making a Chicken Garam Masala using the Garam Masala spice that we created yesterday.

Ingredients :

  • 400 g crushed tomatoes, canned
  • 80 g soured cream, 10% fat
  • 50 g butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Garam Masala Spice Mix
  • 500 g seasoned diced skinless chicken breasts

The tomatoes, sour cream and butter were cooked in the Thermomix for 12 minutes before adding 2 tbsp of the Garam Masala spice mix and cooking for a further 3 minutes. Finaly the chicken breasts were added for a final 6 minutes.

The Chicken Garam Masala was further seasoned and served with the rice and garnished with chopped Coriander (Cilantro).


I haven’t given the exact Thermomix instructions (Time – Temperature and mixing speed) because I just wanted to give you an idea of how it is done.

    1. Indeed. It’s difficult to justify the purchase unless you think of all the other kitchen gadgets you no longer need and the convenience and fun to be had !
