In the back of the van, his chest tightened, and his breathing was harsh and laboured.

Were they near the summit?

The cable ties savaged his wrists.

The grubby blindfold rendered him sightless.

“When do we get to the observatory?”

“We passed it 5 minutes ago.”

Not long know he thought.
