Photography, Writing and more

Nature and Wildlife require skill and good lenses. These are not necessarily the photos I would have liked to present to you although there are one or two that I am rather fond of.
Continuing my exploration of online portfolios and WordPress Themes here is a close-up of a flower from my collection.
With a bit of luck this should automatically post to my Facebook Page rather than me having to cut and paste the link and insert into post on my feed.
This is far from perfect but probably the best I’m going to get.
If this works then I’ll invite more people to my new Facebook page (Graham’s Favourites).

Of course I don’t only point my camera at people. Here are some landscape photos of the English countryside and the Humber Bridge together with photos of the Alaskan glaciers and a glimpse of the Chihuly Museum next to the Space Needle in Seattle.
I’ve added these to the Landscape section of my favourite photos.
Every year in the UK there is a short window of opportunity to enjoy the splendour of a Bluebell carpet.
I lived in Switzerland for over 35 years, and never saw any Bluebells, so imagine my joy of coming back to the UK a few years ago. Of course I made sure of visiting the woods!
This is my entry to this week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge.
The challenge for the Daily Post Photo Challenge this week is to post something relaxing. I’ve not participated in the challenge these past few weeks because I was on vacation.
These are photos of flowers outside Perth Cathedral and in the flower beds in King’s Park, Perth.
I can relax in the colours and remember the relaxing fragrance of the roses.
It was a great holiday but I’m so glad to be back and blogging once more!
