I have great fun editing photos and although I’ve never managed to learn how to use Photoshop, (although I’ve tried many times), I have other ways of playing with images such as Luminar and Aurora.
In this image I swapped the sky, added a texture, and tried to make it as dramatic as possible, highlighting the greens and reds, and bringing out more details.
I’m quite happy with it. It was taken in Japan in the summer of 2014. That was a great trip.
Today’s pic is coincidentally an ‘on this day’ photograph from 2014 and shows the Tokyo night time skyline.

We crusied around Japan on the Diamond Princess and had a great time. We’d love to go back but it doesn’t seem very likely at least for a while

During a 7 day cruise around Japan we visited Busan in South Korea and during lunch there was a cultural show.

When my wife and I were in Japan we passed by a field of white and pink Lotus Flowers in various stages of blossom. Although we were visiting a castle we made sure we had the time to backtrack to the field to enjoy the flowers and take a few photos.
